HIIIIIIIII 💜💜💜💜💜💜scene 2 and 3

We met at my house ☀️ to film on Jan 10*･῾ ᵎ⌇ ⁺◦ 💮 ✧.*

and honestly the experience was really fun and exciting. One of my favorite parts was filming the mirror scenes because they looked super aesthetic and emotional. However, I did make some mistakes while filming, especially during the dinner scene, because I recorded it from a different position than the previous scene. Since there wasn’t enough consistency between shots, it didn’t look right when I started editing. Because of that, I had to change my original idea, which is also why the final result didn’t fully match my moodboard.*･῾ ᵎ⌇ ⁺◦ 💮 ✧.*

Overall, the first time filming was actually amazing. I’m going to put the results below, but honestly, if I had to reflect on it, it was way more surprising than I expected it to be. The results turned out really good, and that made me feel so relieved because I didn’t know what to expect going into it.*･῾ ᵎ⌇ ⁺◦ 💮 ✧.*

One thing I completely forgot to mention and this is honestly kind of embarrassing is that we recorded with the lights on at first, which was very, very stupid of me 😭. I had literally taken out my lights, planned the whole lighting setup, and wanted the general lighting to be darker and more dramatic… and then I just completely forgot..·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

When we finished filming, I suddenly realized it and was like, “Oh my God… what if we turn off the lights?” And then it hit me that this was what I wanted from the beginning. I genuinely stood there questioning myself like,

💔 So yeah… we ended up re-filming everything with the lights off, which was frustrating but also kind of funny in hindsight.

Even with that mistake, the process was still really amazing. The entire thing took way longer than I expected. I honestly didn’t think filming would take that much time, but between setting up, fixing things, redoing scenes, and adjusting details, time just flew by.❝ ❞ ✧ ೃ༄

At the same time, filming inside my house first actually helped me a lot. It gave me the chance to understand how filming really works before going to an outside location. Now that we’ve done scenes two and three, I feel way more prepared for scene one. If we had started filming at the location first, it would’ve been way harder because we would’ve had to adapt on the spot. So I’m really glad we started with the indoor scenes it made everything feel more organized and less overwhelming 🎥✨.❝ ❞ ✧ ೃ༄

Another thing that made the day even funnier was the fact that when Angely left to go home, she left with all the makeup still on. It looked absolutely insane, and it was honestly hilarious and kind of iconic 😭💄. Seeing her just casually leave like that after everything we filmed made the whole day feel even more unreal.

I also have to mention my mom, because she didn’t actually know what my film was about at the time. So imagine her seeing Angely with all this dramatic makeup on her face and not knowing any context 😭. She definitely thought we were being weird.

My mom has been around for the entire process from the beginning since the first day she took me to Media Studies class because I’ve been completely obsessed with this project. But even then, she didn’t really know what the movie was about, so seeing everything in action definitely surprised her.

Overall, this first filming day taught me a lot. It showed me that mistakes are going to happen, that filming takes way more time than you expect, and that planning is important but also that things still work out even when you mess up. I feel way more confident moving forward, and I’m honestly excited to keep going with this project 💗🎬.
