Heyyy ๐ I am actually so excited for this CCR especially because it’s the last one. It feels so surreal to even say that. This whole process has honestly been such a journey for me. It’s been long, sometimes stressful, but I truly loved it from the very beginning. Looking back, I don’t just see an assignment… I see growth. I see effort. And I see how much I’ve improved. I’m genuinely so proud of myself for everything I created.
Okay sooo let’s start from the beginning. When I first started brainstorming my movie opening, I had bought a poster board from Walmart to organize all my ideas.

That board is actually in one of my previous blogs. Later on, I remembered that I still had a blank one under my bed. My friend Douglas(theres a pic of him)suggested that I use it for my CCR and kind of “teach” with it like I was presenting something. The second he said that, I loved the idea. It felt creative, different, and very me. So obviously… I said yes.°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:・

My parents had left me home alone that day, so I couldn’t ask them to help me record. Which meant your girl had to figure everything out alone. I was literally in my bed trying to balance my iPad so it wouldn’t fall. I stacked my pillow and my unicorn plushie behind it just to hold it up. It was giving low-budget production, but make it work. And somehow… it did.

And yes, I had to film on my iPad because my phone had absolutely no storage left. The first CCR took all of it. The camera quality on my iPad isn’t as good as my phone, and you can definitely tell the difference. But honestly? It’s okay. You can hear me clearly, and that’s what matters most. In the picture below, you can see my little DIY setup.⏔⏔⏔ ꒰ แงเทแง ꒱ ⏔⏔⏔

Now let’s talk makeup because obviously that was important. I decided to wear blue eyeshadow because I love blue and I felt like it fit the vibe perfectly. I wanted to look polished and put together, but still like myself. So I did a soft blue eyeshadow look, and you can see it in the picture below. It just made me feel more confident while filming.
For the actual concept of the video, I came up with the idea of acting like a filmmaker who had a degree in film studies. That was the role I was playing. I wanted to present myself as someone educated and professional almost like a “doctor” in film analyzing and talking about a film opening I had created in the past. I thought that would make my CCR way more interesting instead of just answering questions in a basic way. It added personality and creativity.

I also forgot to mention that in the video, I didn’t stay in just one spot the whole time. At first, I was in front of a white background while wearing my heels, giving that professional presentation vibe. But then I moved to my computer setup. While I was sitting at my computer, my actual film was playing in the background behind me. I did that intentionally because it made everything feel more realistic and immersive. It looked like I was genuinely analyzing my own work in real time, which added depth and purpose to the whole concept. That small change in location made the video feel more dynamic and thoughtful instead of static.

At the beginning of the video, I wanted it to feel fun and light instead of overly serious. So I added a little dancing moment with bachata music. Bachata is such a happy, energetic genre that instantly makes people smile. I felt like it showed my personality and started the video in a very natural, joyful way.

I was planning to show all my drafts… but sadly, I accidentally deleted everything. I genuinely thought I had saved screenshots and practice clips, but I didn’t. I deleted all the process videos and the failed takes. And let me tell you I recorded that video over 50 times. I am not exaggerating. I wanted it to be perfect. I was so passionate about making it the best it could be.

I also went on Pinterest for inspiration because of course I did. I searched for ideas of how someone with a film degree would present themselves like how their name would look on a board, their occupation, outfits, book recommendations, and little background details.⛥(ใฃ˕ -。)แถป ๐ ๐ฐ⛥⛥(ใฃ˕ -。)แถป ๐ ๐ฐ⛥

In my script which I’ll include at the end I mentioned that I’ve loved editing since I was seven years old. So I included a picture of myself at seven to make it feel more personal and authentic. I thought that detail made the story sweeter and more believable.๐๐๐๐๐๐

I also talked about my teacher, Ms. Ortiz, so I made sure to include a picture of her as well. I wanted to show appreciation because he has truly been part of this journey and has supported my growth.
Not to mention, I included examples of the editing skills I discussed in my blog, so those visuals are also shown below. Which is the skills audit.⤷ ゛ หห˗
For question four in my CCR the technology question I mentioned everything I used. I used Canva to design visuals, CapCut to edit my video, Canva again for printing, and even AI to try out different makeup styles for inspiration. I wanted to fully show my creative process and all the tools that helped me bring my vision to life.⋅˚₊‧ ๐ ‧₊˚ ⋅

And lastly, this is a picture of me editing at around 11:30 p.m. I had gone out to eat with my parents because it was my dad’s birthday, but I still brought my work with me. I was literally editing while waiting for food because I knew I had to finish. That just shows how dedicated I was.
Even in moments that were supposed to be relaxing, I was still thinking about my project and making sure it was the best it could be.⋅˚₊‧ ๐ ‧₊˚ ⋅
THATS ITTT ENJOY THE next blogggggggg.° ༘๐ง⋆๐₊˚เท
