So, for this blog, I’m going to put you in context: it’s basically going to be all about props, because props are seriously super important ๐✨.➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶
They’re the key to showing all the crazy amount of stuff I want to put in this video, even though we only have a few minutes to fit everything in.
Honestly, the time is NOT enough, but we’re going to make it happen thanks to props, camera work, angles, and just how everything comes together. I’m pretty sure we can make this work perfectly, and that’s why props are such a big deal for me.➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶
So, here’s how I’m going to show all of them. I made a list of all the props I’m planning to use, and I’m going to explain each one so you can really understand why they’re important and how they’re going to contribute to the scene. ➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶

This book is EVERYTHING for setting the mood. It’s not just a book she’s reading it’s a symbol of her thoughts, struggles, and feeling trapped in her own mind. The way she opens it, flips through it, or even just has it lying there gives the audience a hint of her inner world before anything else happens. It’s like a quiet scream that says, “This is me,” and it’s subtle but powerful. The book also creates this visual balance in the room, making it feel lived-in and personal, which makes everything that comes after even more chaotic in contrast. - More Books Around Her Room ๐‿̩̥̩‿̩̩̥͙̽‿̩͙ห⸊ห
These scattered books add personality, chaos, and a sense of curiosity. They show she’s thoughtful, maybe obsessive, and a little overwhelmed by the world around her. Even though they aren’t the main focus, how they’re placed, piled up, or falling over can subtly reflect her mental state. Okay, so these aren’t the “main event,” but they add a crazy playful energy. They’re thrown, knocked over, and tossed around, and that chaotic motion mirrors her spiraling mind without being super literal. They’re cute, unsettling, and perfect for contrast soft, colorful, delicate dolls flying around a room that’s slowly going darker in vibe. Even though they’re small props, they give a sense of chaos and make the scene visually interesting, like little explosions of personality in the space.➴➵➶➴➵➶➴➵➶ - The Pills ๐‿̩̥̩‿̩̩̥͙̽‿̩͙ห⸊ห
These are probably the heaviest symbolic prop. They’re the representation of her loss of control, dependency, and the beginning of her spiral into the mirror scene. They’re mundane but visually dynamic, and can even be part of movement in the scene like her brushing past them or them getting knocked around with other props. Coffee adds personality, small routine, and a sense of exhaustion. A tipped-over cup could hint at chaos, and even just a mug on her desk shows her habits. Reflection ❝ ❞ ✧ ೃ༄
Props are honestly EVERYTHING ๐ญ๐. Planning them made me realize how much they can tell the story, even in just a few minutes. Every little object, from tiny things on the table to bigger props, adds so much meaning and depth. Thinking about how they work with the camera, lighting, and acting showed me how important preparation is. I’m really proud of how I organized and planned everything, and I can’t wait to see it all come together it’s going to make the video feel super real and full of life, even in such a short time!
